About Sornwicha Silk Sornwicha Silk is a family run co-operative located in the I-Saan province of Thailand. The Sornwicha family manages the entire silk making process, from raising the silkworms to hand-spinning and hand-dyeing the yarn. The silk textiles are then created on looms using traditional weaving techniques and natural dyes. The entire village benefits from the silk production.
